Wildcard sku's on batch templates

Wildcard sku's can be used on batch templates when you have multiple different sku's for the same base product.  

Below we have example sku's for two different colour t-shirts in four different sizes and two design variations:

.Tee-black-XL-12345
.Tee-white-L-12345
.Tee-black-L-12345
.Tee-white-M-12345
.Tee-black-M-12345
.Tee-white-S-12345
.Tee-black-S-12345
.Tee-white-XL-00000
.Tee-black-XL-00000
.Tee-white-L-00000
.Tee-black-L-00000
.Tee-white-M-00000
.Tee-black-M-00000
.Tee-white-S-00000
.Tee-black-S-00000

As you can see there can be a large amount of sku's  of each product.

On the batch it is possible to cut down the amount of sku's needed using a wild card.

This is done by adding a * after a predetermined section in the sku, So that any product that has the partial sku will be added to this batch. 

For example if we wanted to put all of the XL T-shirts together despite what design. we would set up the sku's as below:

.Tee-white-XL*
.Tee-black-XL*

If we wanted all the black T-shirts together despite what design or size , we would set up the sku's as below:

.Tee-black*

and if we just wanted to put all of the T-shirts together, we could just set the sku:

.Tee*

This allow you to create unlimited variations of the product and as long as you follow the same product sku naming convention you will not need to update the batch templates.
