OMS and CPP Wholesale Blanks
The CPP and OMS system has features making it a comprehensive platform for manageing and ordering wholesale blank products.
Leading wholesale blanks suppliers set up their products in CPP for suppliers to use. This gives suppliers a head start of product creation but also means that that supplier can directly generate orders for wholesale blanks required to fulfil their orders.
You can request access to a wholesale blanks suppliers products by requesting it from support@custom-gateway.com
Once you have access to the products you can duplicate them into your own blanks categories and then follow theses steps
1) Change the PRODUCT TYPE in CPP from "Wholesale Blank" to "Blank" and "Stock"
2) Update the "Supplier" to yourself and add the "Wholesale Blank Product" that you duplicated from under the "Default Supplier" tab pictured below
3) Modify / Add any print areas as required to match your own printing requirements.
4) Print Test to ensure set up correctly and lock the product to ensure it does not get further modified.
You can then use this product to create your own products such as virtual products which adds designs to base products. Every order for those designs will link back to that original wholesale blank. If you select all of the orders in OMS that you would like to order wholesale blanks for to enable you to complete the orders you can select "Request Wholesale Blanks" from the bulk actions menu. This will generate CSV files for each wholesale blanks supplier which can be used as a purchase request and these have unique ID's and create an entry in our Stock Requests system available in OMS under STOCK MANAGER > STOCK REQUESTS
When your stock comes in you can update your stock values in OMS via the STOCK MANAGER > INVENTORY screen where you can make manual edits or export and import via CSV files. We will shortly be adding a feature wherby you can convert a stock request into stock straight from the Stock Requests screen to help streamline this.
